Export to ActiveCampaign

By exporting Oribi’s events to your ActiveCampaign account, you’ll be able to use any action a visitor takes on your site to trigger automations, craft perfectly precise visitor segments, and send exactly the right messaging at exactly the right time.
For this integration, all you need are your Oribi and ActiveCampaign accounts. Follow the steps below to activate the integration and get started exporting your Oribi events to ActiveCampaign.
  1. Enable email integration in Oribi.
In order for Oribi to associate visitors who log in or sign up on your site with their respective contacts in ActiveCampaign, you’ll need to first enable Oribi’s email integration feature. You can read instructions on how to set that up here.
  2. Connect your Oribi account to ActiveCampaign.
In your Oribi account, click Settings >> Ecosystem. In the dropdown just below the Ecosystem tab, select the ecosystem you’d like to connect with your ActiveCampaign account.

Click Connect A Platform, choose ActiveCampaign from the list of platforms, and follow the onscreen instructions.

When prompted, name your ActiveCampaign account as you’d like it to appear in Oribi, and enter your Actid and Event Keys. If you’re not sure how to find those in your ActiveCampaign account, hover over the yellow question mark to see exactly where.

To disconnect your ecosystem from Intercom, go to Settings > Ecosystem in your Oribi account. Click Disconnect from ActiveCampaign under the ActiveCampaign tab.
  3. Select which Magic Events you’d like to export to ActiveCampaign.
To choose the events you’d like to export and use to trigger ActiveCampaign automations, go to Manage Events > Manage Magic Events in your Oribi account.
    Hubspot Manage Events
Next to the events you’d like to export to ActiveCampaign, click Export Event. If the event is already being exported to a different platform, click the down arrow on the Exported Event button and choose Edit. Type how you want the event to appear in ActiveCampaign and click Export.
  4. View your exported events in ActiveCampaign.
In your ActiveCampaign account, click Settings > Tracking. Scroll down to the Event Tracking section. There, you’ll see a full list of the events you’re currently tracking in ActiveCampaign, including the ones you just exported from Oribi. Your Oribi events will all begin with “Oribi”.
    View Events in ActiveCampaign
Voilà! Any time a visitor to your site performs one of the events you exported, the data will be sent to ActiveCampaign. You’ll then be able to use that event to trigger precise automations and perfectly segment visitors for email campaigns.
